What characterises children's tables

As you know, children, especially small children, are demanding users of furniture. Children's tables should be made of durable materials, resistant to bruising, staining and scratching, while also being easy to clean. Most often, laminated board or wood is used for this type of furniture. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the construction of the table itself - whether it does not have many nooks and crannies and joints into which dirt, plasticard residue, etc. can enter.

Wooden tables for children

Children's tables made of wood are a good and natural choice. Wood is a natural and damage-resistant material that also does not deform when exposed to higher temperatures. Wooden furniture also has anti-static properties, so it does not attract dust as intensely as plastic furniture. In addition, wooden tables for children are usually coated with ecological paints that are safe for small users. It is advisable to choose models that are made of solid wood, which ensures that the structure is more durable.

What height should a children's table be?

Due to the rapid growth of the child, the height of children's tables is a variable value. As a general rule, the height of a table should be chosen so that the child has an upright position when studying or playing.

Tables for 2-3 year olds should be around 40-45 cm, for 4-5 year olds this will be around 50 cm and for 6-8 year olds the height should be around 55 cm.

Your child's development makes it a good idea to choose tables for children that have an adjustable top height (and seat in the case of children's chairs).
